Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
We are seeking a mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to assemble and test biomedical products. Ideal candidates have experience in fields like auto mechanics, aerospace, or engineering, and are comfortable using diagnostic tools and working with complex assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and test biomedical devices per instructions
Troubleshoot issues using error messages
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Use tools such as multimeter, torque driver, pipette, oscilloscope, etc.
Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards
Support inventory and material movement
Requirements:
Mechanical background; experience in assembly required
Basic Excel skills and ability to follow procedures
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Medical device assembly experience is a plus
Team player with strong communication skills
Preferred:
Familiarity with ESD practices and diagnostic tools
Engineering-related education or equivalent experience

ROTO Assembler I
Assembly Technician Job 35 miles from Ontario
The Assembler I has ownership of the assembly stations assigned. They are responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, and overall productivity. The Assembler I will be expected to perform basic and intermediate assembly processes at within the department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Follow a prism-based schedule.
Ability to properly assemble basic and intermediate components within the Roto department which includes but is not limited to cleaning parts, tapping inserts, bolting and/or using self-tapping screws to secure components to main body part.
Order and control hardware and ensure all is inventory is accounted for.
Ability to recognize and follow departmental quality guidelines.
Perform all aspects of product packaging including boxing, labeling, taping, stapling and stacking cartons using established pallet patterns.
Knowledge of using basic hand and power tools.
Maintains a personal efficiency rating in accordance with Key Performance Targets not to fall below 100%.
Willing to cross train as needed in all the assembly cells which include non-Foam line, Ingredient Bin line, LCD line, Ferry 11-line, Bus Cart line, Kits, Packs, Food Bar & FSG line, Routing, Re-box area.
Print labels using computers and proper application methods.
Perform FG (finished goods) transactions with all associated labeling requirements.
Follow all established assembly procedures and work instructions.
Access the ESP program via computer.
Ability to follow verbal assembly instructions and repeat processes.
Adjusting to different work assignments throughout the workday.
Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
