Overall Responsibilities
Include the following but other duties may be assigned
Execute timely and courteous service to guests in his/her own station and also for other tables in the restaurant, following strict adherence to Wolfgang Puck policies and procedures
Follow the exact Busser Sequence of Service procedures as outlined by Wolfgang Puck policy at all times
Assure and maintain highest standard of service, sanitation and hospitality
Work in clean, sanitary manner keeping service stations clean during shift and thoroughly cleaned and organized for the next shift
Perform “in-house” janitorial cleaning at close of business or prior to opening as directed by manager (if applicable)
Work closely with store management and other employees to hospitable experience
Be properly dressed in uniform and maintain a clean, professional appearance throughout shift
Help train new employees and managers using up-to-date policies, procedures and techniques
Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of knife safety and any other equipment used
Promote the WELL philosophy
Attend all meetings and seminars as directed by Manager
Shift Duties
Set-up/break-down and continual maintenance of dining room
Set-up/break-down and continual maintenance of service stations and dirty dish area of dish-room
Sanitation of service stations, silverware, booster seats, high chairs, and FOH floors
Attend pre-shift meeting
Maintain restroom and front entrance cleanliness during shift by checking every hour for cleanliness and supplies
Assist dishwasher in keeping area organized. Empty trash containers at service stations as needed
Assist servers with beverage delivery and refills, and food delivery when necessary
Perform table maintenance, cleaning and re-setting
Happily assists other employees in their tasks
Perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift, and check out with manager
Communication
Encourage and praise trainees for good performance
Be patient with trainees’ questions and different levels of experience
Be aware of posted information from previous pre-shifts and follow through accordingly
Communicate any food that has to be re-made, or thrown out for any reason to the expediter
Communicate any irregularities, 86’s or other pertinent information to the manager
Notify the manager of any guest complaint no matter how small it may seem
Notify the manager of any problems with equipment or breakage that would affect the supply of necessary items for service

The F&B Food Server is responsible for providing AAA 4-Diamond customer service while supporting all Food & Beverage venues. The incumbent's primary responsibility is to serve Guests in a quick, efficient, and courteous manner, in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This includes but is not limited to, taking and inputting accurate food and beverage orders and ensuring prompt delivery of all food and beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Pre-bus tables by removing dirty plates and silverware that Guests are not using. The incumbent must also possess knowledge of all resort-wide features and promotions to be able to assist their Guests with any questions.

In this Role:
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude, ensuring positive guest interactions by always demonstrating Gun Lake Casino Resort's AAA 4-Diamond service standards.
Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort's “Unsurpassed Service” standards at all times.
Promptly greet Guests, take food and beverage orders, and follow the established sequence of service.
Follow up with Guests periodically to assist with additional needs or requests.
Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and specials. Take note of Guest requests, including special requests or allergen considerations.
Communicate with the back of the house to ensure orders are input correctly and requests are accommodated.
Deliver food and beverage orders to Guests.
Inform the immediate supervisor of any product shortages and equipment needs.
Behave in a positive, professional manner that reflects Gun Lake Casino Resort practices.
Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so. Comply with all ServSafe expectations and practices.

Must have a detailed knowledge of the menu, features, specials, beverages, preparation of food, and prices.
Must be able to prepare and pour drinks in a timely manner. Must pass Company testing and standards as it relates to free pouring, using a jigger. Must have detailed knowledge and understanding of comp pours and portion size standards. Must be able to operate all soda, juice, and liquor guns.
Must have detailed knowledge of suggestive selling techniques and upselling techniques.
Observe and anticipate guest's needs by keeping beverages filled throughout their meal.
Ensure cleanliness of the tables and maintain their overall appearance. Responsible for removal of excess tableware and continuing table maintenance at all times, including but not limited to dinner plates, flatware, beverage glasses, coffee mugs, and dessert dishes.
Complete assigned side-work and any additional tasks assigned by your leadership team.
Monitor the cleanliness of assigned stations including floors and assist in keeping the area free of debris.
Ring in carry-out and food cart orders for Team Members and Guests and ensure that all orders have all necessary items for accuracy.
Have knowledge of all methods of check tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit card, points, gift certificates, etc.).
All other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Must be 18+ years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least two (2) years of serving experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, and/or high-energy guest service oriented restaurant required.
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
Must manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate sound judgment and mature decision-making.
Must possess and demonstrate great attention to detail in order to maintain the unit's appearance and operating standards.
Must possess creativity and organizational ability.
Must be able to perform most work independently or as part of a close-knit team.
Must be able to obtain the required ServSafe and TIPS Certification and maintain them.
Physical Requirements:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer.
Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push up to 250 pounds on a push cart, and enter walk-ins of between -10 to 40 degrees without assistance.
Ability to stand for the duration of their shifts
Must have the ability to access all properties and areas.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in a kitchen environment, front-of-house area, or on the casino floor. Work areas may be warm, cold, or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.
