Job Summary: New Season operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives. We take great pride in treating our patients with dignity and respect in each phase of their treatment experience Essential Functions: Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork. Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups. Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame. Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs. Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required. Performs direct one-on-one patient couneling weekly through individual or group counseling. Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required. Reports patient grievances as required. Educates patient in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery. Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification. Orient new residents to RSS. Help defuse and de-escalate any potential behavior emergencies, and utilize crisis assessment tools for suicidal and aggressive behavior. Aid residents in completing financial forms, including applying for benefits upon admission. Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Qualifications: Behavior Analysis Certification: Required certification in Behavior Analysis with maintenance of BCBA requirements every two years. Ongoing Education & Ethics: Fulfill continuing education requirements and adhere to BACB ethics standards. Supervision Training: Completed 8-hour supervision training and 3 hours of related continuing education. Relevant Experience: Experience in evaluating and treating children with severe behavioral issues and autism spectrum disorder. Background & Health Clearances: Criminal Background Check and TB clearance required. Additional Certifications: Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR certifications are a plus.
