Purpose Statement: Northstar Mental Health Services works alongside the rest of the Northstar team in providing mental health services to those experiencing emotional distress and other mental health concerns that are interfering with their lives and overall well-being. Our integrated team of professionals work with clients individually, couples, with family, and in group settings. We are looking for individuals that possess the ability to provide psychotherapy to clients and help them to become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. Key Result Areas: For residential clients, fulfill the mental health component of the co-occurring licensure requirements, which includes completing the initial mental health screen of all new clients within the first 3 days of arrival into program (GAIN-SS), and subsequently completing the diagnostic assessment (DA) within 10 days. Maintain a minimum of 25 direct client contact hours per week (for full time), or averaging at least 60% of available time as direct client contact if part time. This will include a combination of 1:1 or group psychotherapy, as well as facilitating co-occurring substance use groups. Complete all substance use documentation within the day of service, and mental health documentation within 72 hours of rendering the service. Fulfill expectations on maintaining documentation tracking of clients in the residential site. Attend weekly multidisciplinary clinical staffing meetings. Attend weekly departmental clinical consultation meetings. Number of grievances/maltreatment reports is no greater than 1 per month. Northstar Behavioral Health Network is a team of professionals that specialize in serving those battling substance use disorders, specifically Opioid Use Disorder and Stimulant Use Disorder. Also specializing in those needing Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS). Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Provide clinical services and document appropriately (comprehensive assessments, group therapy, individual therapy, etc.) in accordance to NBH policies and procedures and standards established by governing bodies. Coordinate care with internal (Nursing, Mental Health Providers, Treatment Coordinators, and Peer Recovery Support Specialist) and external (Department of Corrections, court, probation, child protective services, other providers) entities to improve outcome of clients recovery. Participate in scheduled meetings: clinical, multidisciplinary, individual, etc. Exhibits knowledge of core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment. Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Client satisfaction results from clients per month average over 4 Outpatient group attendance is greater than 90% (billable units) per track. Ensure compliance changes delivered by auditor happens within one week. Client retention per month is higher than 50% Requirements: Valid LADC/ADC-T licensure in the state of MN 1+ years addiction counseling experience Comprehensive understanding of all MN Statutes related to providing services for the population NBHN serves CPR/First Aid Certification or attain within 30 days of employment Must be able to pass a background check Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record Strong computer skills, including knowledge in MS Office, and Google Suite programs Familiar with medication for opioid use disorder Model (preferred) Specialty training such as DBT-SUD, CBT, MI, etc. (preferred) Familiar with Procentive, Electronic Health Record System (preferred) PIc10bc5fb0279-25***********2
