Moves materials within the warehouse or storage facility to and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other materials handling equipment. Moves material from the warehouse to the production floor and makes transactions on the system to preserve inventory accuracy. Responsibilities * Responsible for following all safety activity in compliance with Rain Bird Safety Standards and Procedures. * Locate, verify, and supply production with materials needed for day. * Receive, verify, and document incoming raw material for quantity and ID accuracy. * Responsible for racking raw materials into warehouse locations and scanning all material transfers into the system. * Responsible for staging and shipping finished goods. * Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse. * Perform inventory counts for Cycle Count Program * Perform warehouse rack audits on as needed basis. * Ability to carry up to 35lbs by hand. * Participates in process improvement activities. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * 3+ years of experience using forklift (stand-up and sit-down) * Proven track record with attendance and reliable transportation * Excellent communication, interpersonal, team work, and organizational skills * Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Proficient in software programs such as Word and Excel * Experience in Barcode scanner system use * Experience using PeopleSoft * Knowledge of inventory management systems Salary range for candidates based in California: $31,200 - $52,206 Salary ranges include base salary and annual incentive bonus if applicable.
