Instructional Guide
● Deliver classroom instruction aligned to the Georgia Standards of
Excellence.

● Collaborate with MACS Associate Teachers to implement the High Five

Job Summary
The Academic Enhancement Center's (AEC) part-time tutor (Science) provides academic tutorial support to currently enrolled GGC students. The Science part-time tutor engages in student success initiatives, such as study skills workshops, professional development training, and promotional events. The part-time tutor provides academic support to ensure students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become independent learners.
Responsibilities
* Facilitates one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions
* Engages in AEC student success initiatives, including but not limited to TIC (Tutors in the Classroom), TAC (Tutors Across Campus), and/or TOE (Tutoring Online)
* Establishes and maintains relationships with students, faculty, staff, and administration
* Assists AEC leadership with developing tutor training activities and/or presentations
* Participates in professional development training, including CRLA tutor training certification initiatives
* Collaborates with the GGC community to promote AEC initiatives and to ensure student success
* Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
* 4 Year/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
* Grade of B (2.75) or better in coursework related to the subject to be tutored
* 1 year of relevant experience

* Graduate Degree In related field
