of City Year AmeriCorps members provide support to students, classrooms and the
whole school, helping to ensure that students in schools receive a high-quality
education that prepares them with the skills and mindset to thrive and contribute
to their community.
What You'll Do
As a City Year AmeriCorps member, your service will focus on coaching and
mentoring elementary, middle and/or high school students. You will help these
students earn academic success, improve their attendance, and develop positive
behaviors at school. You will plan and monitor individual student progress and
work with teachers on whole class instruction, breakout spaces and other in-class
student assistance.
Role and Responsibilities
Experience in all these tasks is not necessary. We provide 2-4 weeks of training at
the beginning of the year to support you. Plus, you will work with partner teachers
and school staff every step of the way.
Support academic coaching and interpersonal development for students:
Β· Work with identified students 1:1 and in small groups
Β· Develop literacy and/or math skills varying learning activities by student level,
answering student questions and encouraging assignment completion
Β· Create and implement a behavior management system for students
Β· Develop interpersonal skills throughout their day, using proven strategies of
learning, practicing, reflection and repetition
Β· Collaborate with teachers and team members to collect, record, analyze and
monitor individual student progress, participating in facilitated reviews of student
data collected and entered into City Year's student data systemΒ· Create an engaging, safe and healthy classroom space in collaboration with the teacher
Support Whole School initiatives to increase engagement with students and
families:
Β· Support and/or conduct extended day and virtual programming for students
before, during and after school including, but not limited to, academic enrichment
and intervention, homework support, recreation and student clubs, service
learning, and leadership development
Β· Create, support and/or co-lead events or programs that recognize and appreciate
student growth and/or achievement in math, literacy, attendance, and behavior

Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Bartenders to join our team. Our ideal candidate is at least 21 years of age, a self-starter, motivated, and engaged and be able to work in an upscale, service oriented environment.
Job Summary
Provide food & beverage service to our diners and to servers in an efficient and courteous manner, following established restaurant standards. To uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform
Prepare bar for service prior to guest arrival, including the supplying of service stations, stock to proper par levels, and inspection of the bar top, chairs and immediate area.
Serve food and beverage items according to established Cork standards
Monitor diners' satisfaction frequently, anticipate needs without requiring direction and properly time courses.
Restock areas as needed
Properly obtain completed guest checks and close/cash out
Attend all scheduled employee meetings, tastings and trainings
In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your manager
Qualifications
Must have complete knowledge of cocktails, types of beers, and an understanding of Italian fare and Italian Wines
Must be able to upsell and make recommendations to diners
Must be TIPS certified or working toward certification
Must have 1-3 years of related experience

Job Description
The Dining Server will provide excellent customer service to our residents. Take resident orders, serving meals, providing assistance, and creating a pleasant dining experience for the resident.
Schedule: full-time: Friday through Tuesday 6:30am - 3pm.

Responsibilities and Duties
Assist the Dining Room Manager with special projects as assigned
Take residents' dining orders in a friendly and attentive disposition
Learn and retain residents' names, special requests, and dietary restrictions
Ensure dining room is set up, all items needed for service are readily available (silverware, napkins, menus, salt/pepper shakers, etc.)
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, menus, kitchen, serving stations, and other areas as directed
Ensure safe food handling
Assist with preparation of beverages, snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments for service
Assist residents with any special dining requests
Ensure all residents are accounted for during each meal, and completing documentation of their attendance
Assist with special events
Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned including assisting staff, creating schedules, organizing side work, and guest relations.
Qualifications
High school diploma preferred/GED accepted
Minimum of two years' experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Competent in organizational, time management skills
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
Experience working with seniors
Physical Abilities
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
