Reports to: Restaurant Manager, Food & Beverage Director, Banquet Captain
Job Purpose Carry out duties to support the smooth running of banquet events, ensuring guest satisfaction by meeting the high standards of customer care offered by the Perry Hotel.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Execute tasks and jobs designated by the supervisor or management to the required standard.
Contribute to the cleanliness of the venue by cleaning tables and chairs, vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting fixtures
Prepare for meal service by polishing plates, glasses and cutlery, setting up server stations and keeping items stocked
Check guest orders for accuracy and notify kitchen of any issues
Help with wine and/or champagne service, deliver food and beverages to guests, and clear tables after each course.
Handle customer complaints and requests in a professional manner and bring them to the attention of the supervisor.
Have a good knowledge of the food and beverages the restaurant provides. Training will be in place to familiarize staff with the dishes and wines, but it is ultimately up to the restaurant staff to learn the menus and communicate them effectively to the guest.
Comply at all times with the Food Safety Code.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times.
Seek to ensure at all times that all guests on our properties have the best experience possible.
